5 for 5: Top 5 facts of one of my personal favourites, the BMW 5 Series

 Here’s some interesting info about one of  BMW’s best selling models for the executive luxury sedan segment, the 5 Series.    With the 5 Series, Bavarian carmaker BMW has had a long time coming.  BMW sells the G30 5 Series currently in India across its dealerships with the latest facelift given in June 2021 comprising of minor cosmetic and interior updates.  The locally assembled 5 Series is currently offered in two trims, namely, Luxury Line and M Sport. Recent trends in cars that I just hate!

 Automobiles have been a long time in the making since ages. We've been used to all kinds of trends rising in falling in the market but there are some that still exist. Here are the ones I hate and why.  1. Digital dials instead of analogue  Yes, I know that Audi, Porsche Mercedes Volkswagen brands do them well but BMW, Hyundai and other small manufacturers make them too just for the sake of ticking the equipment list and trust me, they don't look great. The tachometer is counter clockwise which is just unconventional. On top of that, the resolution and graphics of the displays themselves is bad which doesn't do justice to what they're even supposed to do in the first place. Some brands just do it to show a digital speedometer only. The satisfaction of Seeing the analogue needle hit all the way to redline is a sight that's breathtaking. It's now sad to see another beloved feature get killed.   2. Fake exhausts and vents     This...
